Tunisia and the Risks of Italian Mediterranean Irrelevance

Talking to Formiche, I explain why, for Italy, Tunisia is more critical than it seems just looking at material factors of power. I only discuss why Italy should stop seeing the Mediterannean only through the migration lens as, by losing focus on other issues, Rome risks to lose further geopolitical relevance. Against this backdrop, Tunisia and Italy’s capacity to be influential in this country is absolutely fundamental for Rome’s overall Mediterranean projection. Full interview here.
